CWRC Pier Project on Miller DamBrief Backstory

Chequamegon Wildlife and Recreation Club started in the minds of several local men over their morning coffee in Perkinstown in 2000. Issues affecting local sportsman were the main topic and they sought a way to improve things for all area sportsmen and sportswomen. So began this organization.

The CWRC Annual Banquet was held February 12, 2011 at Dot & Jerry’s Ballroom in Gilman, Wisconsin. 131 members and a number of sponsoring guests attended this celebration of another year of success. Thank you to all of those in attendance. This banquet raised some funds, but is mostly about honoring the clubs accomplishments.

ATV Safety ClassThank you to all who donated items for the local food pantry. Nearly 600 pounds of food were delivered on Monday morning in addition to $150 cash. It is a difficult time of year for food pantries and Indianhead Community Action Agency truly appreciates our contribution.

Without our membership, CWRC would not exist. Give yourself credit for paying the annual dues and joining a good cause. Your money goes toward maintaining our outdoor traditions for future generations. Thank you to our 2010 banquet donors for their support.

Patronize these businesses and thank these people for supporting area sportsmen!
